We could not be more excited to announce that our neighborhood is the new home of Naperville Sunrise Rotary’s beloved NaperLights. Beginning the week of November 7, Water Street will host the free Winter Wonderland of lights and music through the holiday season. The display is a gift to the community, however volunteers will gratefully accept donations to support youth and young adult causes supported by Sunrise Rotary.
Visible all along the Street and along the Riverwalk, the display includes a 40-foot tree to welcome you at the corner of Water Street and Main. A dazzling multi-colored arch will be the perfect spot to take your holiday photos on Foyo Plaza. Lights all along the Boardwalk on the riverside will be cued to music for an animated spectacle visible from both sides of the river. Skating polar bears, penguins sliding on an igloo, skaters, snow men, carolers, gifts, baubles, and dancing trees will light the way. Even the Imburgia Fountain will sing! And up in the sky high above the Riverwalk, you might just spy Santa flying over downtown!
Our merchants will welcome you with later hours to celebrate the lights on November 7th, and many will welcome you to the Holiday Open House on November 16-17 with early bird savings. Celebrate American Express Small Business Saturday on November 30 by visiting all of our independently-owned shops along Water Street for gifts, fashion, jewelry, spa services, wine and coffee delights. Whether you’re celebrating Thanksgiving with visiting family, attending the Hometown Holiday Parade on November 29 or just starting your holiday shopping, our many wonderful restaurants will welcome you for lunch of dinner all month long.
