Fall for Water Street in October

As the leaves turn crimson and gold, lots is turning on at Water Street including a welcoming new leaf projection on the east end of the Loggia building, home to Hotel Indigo, Elements at Water Street, SixtyFour – Wine Bar & Kitchen, Blue Sushi Sake Grill and Santo Cielo.  You’ll also notice new string lights lighting the block along the Ryan Family Bridge.  Watch for these lights to surprise you as the seasons turn.

125 guests just enjoyed an outdoor, moon-lit 6-course dinner with wines prepared by the award-winning Chefs of Water Street at the 3rd Annual Long Table Dinner on the street on Water Street. The event raised funds to aid our neighbors in need who look to West Suburban Community Pantry for help with food and supportive services.  Plans are currently underway for next year’s Long Table Dinner, so if you missed it, mark your calendar for September 10, 2023.

On Saturday, October 22, Water Street becomes a free pumpkin patch for children under 12 to pick their favorite orange orb while enjoying face painting and a balloon twister from 11 am-2 pm. Children will receive a free goody bag and may take part in a spooky hands-on activity at London Skye.

Speaking of London Skye, they’ve just introduced crownjewelsbyls !! Yes, we have created a #permanentjewelrybrand. They are booking now through December for in store parties, parties at your home, parties at other stores or special events. Call the store to book 331-814-3174.

With the changing times, SixtyFour Wine bar has announced new Fall hours, open for dinner Tuesday-Thursday & open all day every weekend.  Check out lots of new specials on the menu.  And by the way, that Chicken Crunch Salad at Blue Sushi Sake Grill looks like it’d be fabulous with a sake or chilled white wine. Or try the Brussel sprouts with balsamic reduction and orange pumpkin seeds or a tray of roasted oysters with an Autumn cocktail as you watch the leaves turn along the Riverwalk from your perch at Santo Cielo.

For a little look back, check out Quiubo as they bring back some favorites as  weekly specials all month,  including Hanger Steak, Butterflied Snapper and Chipotle shrimp skewers. The bar is open for your night cap too. Book your hotel stay now before the holiday reservations are gone.

Before you know Water Street will be celebrating with NaperLights and Santa.. but that’s for another month!
